“Maybe there aren't any such things as good friends or bad friends - maybe there are just friends, people who stand by you when you're hurt and who help you feel not so lonely. Maybe they're always worth being scared for, and hoping for, and living for. Maybe worth dying for too, if that's what has to be. No good friends. No bad friends. Only people you want, need to be with; people who build their houses in your heart.”
~ Stephen King Aphrodite |
Personality
Aphrodite may be the most optimistic, innocent, hopeful creature ever. Though she may have been killed by a car she sees it not as a death but as a birth into a new life. Even if the end of a story or life ends in tragedy she is positive once in heaven their souls will find true piece. Aphrodite wants to find good in everything she comes across and does not believe in true evil, only misguidance and ignorance.
Where Imperial is quick to judge and quick to action Aphrodite is slower in that she attempts to find the positive reason or solution behind a situation. Aphrodite tempers Imperial's fire and is the balance to her feline sisterine. She understands that there are scars on all our lives and that a part of all of us is ugly, but there is also a part of all of us that is beautiful and it is that beauty that she aspires to bring out in the world. Aphrodite is the muse of consideration for it is her consideration for the feelings and reasons of others that brings out the brightness in her and those around her. |

History
During her first life Aphrodite was the companion to a wealthy couple. Captured in the jungles of South America as a kitten she was raised as a house cat. While her family was on a visit to Borneo Aphrodite saw a small rodent and ran from her masters to catch it, only to run in front of a car. Part of her skull was cracked, and her neck and upper back crushed. Being buried in the soft soil of the jungle. Scavengers dug up her body a bird plucking the damaged eye from the cracked portion of her face before an odd thing happened. By some strange force plant life began a rapid growth through her body. Fungus under her skin turned the pigment of her fur pink, large fleshy leaves and flower peddles grew from the damaged neck and back. The rapid growing of the flowers caused unusually quick fermentation which attracted a little Pen-Tailed Treeshrew that took residence inside of her missing eye hiding behind that leaves that cover her face.

Magic/Powers
As a terrorling she shares all the same traits as her species.
Intelligence: The Second Life differs from the first life in a few key areas. First off death has somehow increased the intelligence of the Terrorling, making them smarter than your average animal. Healing: The new Companion Bond allows the Terrorling to heal when injured back to the point of where its body was upon reanimation. Telepathy: The Terrorling gains a very basic mental connection with its Companion. This allows the Terrorling and Companion to feel raw feelings between the two but not directly speak in words. Note terrorlings and their companions do not always have to be right side by side, though overly long distances will often cause insecurity and worry. Symbiosis: The Terrorling and Companion share a symbiotic relationship with one another. Though the two have separate souls they share one single life force. This means that if either of them was to die, the other would die as well. The trade back for this venerability though is that the shared life force extends the life of both animals. The exact extended life span is still unknown. The Companion still is required to eat and drink though the companion is not due to surviving off their shared life force, in exchange though the Terrorling often acts as a protector or/and provider for the Companion. It is not unusual for the Companion’s food to even grow in/on the Terrorling. The life force bond between a Terrorling and its Companion is known as the Companion Bond. |
